Shirkey Golf Club is a semi-private 18 hole championship golf course approximately 35 miles northeast of Kansas City, Missouri. It is one of the most popular courses in the Kansas City area as a result of it's natural beauty and general toughness of the layout. Golf Digest 2007
Places to Play
The course has a beautiful layout over rolling hills with water or sand (or both) coming into play on almost every hole. The ponds have also become popular fishing sites. There are four sets of tees with distances ranging from almost 7000 yards from the back tees to approximately 5500 yards for the seniors and ladies tees.
